After my initial consult with Alex I knew this was going to be a favorite project of mine. Her calm and confident nature was truly impressive to me and their choice of venue with a modern, elegant all white look seemed like a perfect fit. The Artisan is a beautiful rooftop gardenesque venue tucked into the Arts District in Dallas but all outdoors. All of our planning and design moved smoothly during the months leading up to her and Adam’s day. Of course, mother nature had other plans. At the last minute the threat of a major storm caused us to move the wedding inside, but we pivoted our design plan and instead of creating baby’s breath garlands for the stairs we popped all of our stems into a beautiful arch to welcome guests into their candlelit evening. Phaelonopsis orchids in sleek long stemmed bud vases covered every table with floating candles, crisp white playa blanca roses and fragrant white stock with whispy white Dutch lisianthus. Despite this not being our initial plan for the day, the team and Alex and Adam came together and created the intimate, modern and elegant evening they had always envisioned and the final vision was picture perfect.
