The Petal and Field Experience



The process of design and execution of your vision truly brings me so much joy and I am so honored you are considering Petal and Field. 

Once you feel you are ready to book Petal and Field, a 50 percent deposit is required to secure your date. Then the fun begins! I will start working on the individual colors, flowers and designs to create the overall feel and atmosphere you desire. We will also refine the details such as vases, vessels, stands and candles that best fit the look and design of your event. We have an extensive inventory with a variety of different options for you to chose from, we can source specific vessels for you to purchase and keep, or we can design in your own special pieces to truly personalize your event. 


After our consult I will carefully consider your vision for the day, and will create a itemized custom, unique floral proposal for you including an inspiration board for you to review. Two additional revisions to your quote and inspiration board are complimentary. 


After completing our contact form, I will reach out to schedule an initial consultation. All weddings will begin with an in person meeting where we will discuss all the details of your day and review colors, ideas and inspiration photos. Some events can be coordinated via phone or email, other may require an in person consultation. These meetings typically run around one to two hours. 


The Petal and Field Process

Approximately four to six weeks out from your event we will have a final meeting to review all details of your day, coordination with event planners and vendors, and a floral mock up if applicable. 


Then, relax and enjoy the details of your day! Petal and Field will personally install all floral and décor items coordinated by us and build on site any installations desired. At the end of your event, we will come to ‘strike’ or take down and clean up everything we supplied for your event. In some instances, individual vases and vessels can be purchased and you and your guests can take home the florals at the end of your event to continue to enjoy at home. 


After our initial meeting, a 50% deposit of your overall cost will be needed to secure your date. If applicable, I will reach out to your event coordinator and on site venue coordinators to discern the best timeline and process for load in/out and any other specifics so that you can be assured your event will run smoothly and the flowers will be delivered on time. 


Please fill out our event inquiry form and I will reach out to schedule a time for an in person meeting or phone call. After our initial consultation I will create a quote with all line items discussed including pricing, installation and strike fee and tax. The consult and two revisions on your quote are complimentary. 

How can I get a quote?

Yes! I travel readily across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and am available for travel within the US and abroad for specific projects.


If you are ready for Petal and Field to elevate your event, please book as soon as possible! With so many postponements of events and people ready to celebrate life’s milestones, our schedule fills quickly. Additionally, in order to give your event the time and attention it deserves I take only a limited number of weddings and large events per year. 

When should I book you?

No, I do not have a minimum, but want to deliver a design that is beautiful and unique. Flowers like many other goods are becoming increasingly pricey but once I have a better idea of what you are looking for I have many creative ideas to bring your vision to life at any budget!  


Yes! I have a wonderful group of vendors I work with to source rentals, linens, tableware, paper goods, cakes and desserts and other specialized décor. This service can be provided for an additional 10 percent of your overall cost. 


Your investment will vary greatly depending on the specific flowers, size and density of arrangements, floral installations, guest/table count, and other factors. For our wedding designs, most couples invest an average of $6500. This will include two in person design consultations, an itemized floral proposal with two revision included, and a floral mock up prior to the date for weddings of $6,000 and above. Site visits at venues with the couple can be scheduled for an additional rate. Full event design and coordination of rentals such as linens, table settings, tables/chairs or coordination with other vendors such as catering, staffing etc can be added at a rate of ten percent of overall cost.
